"This house was amazing! Custom home with wonderful amenities, fabulous views and so much more! Great location, within walking distance to the beach and downtown. We were also able to watch monkeys eating the fresh mangos in the trees from the backyard patio and eat fresh eggs from the hens each morning. Maricel was amazing with check in, she helped to navigate from San Jose, bought our ferry tickets for us and set up tours. I would highly recommend both Maricel and this home!! Santa Teresa is such a quaint, neat village."

First of all , I want to thanks Stephanie and John for being such a outstanding hosts .
Such a wonderful house with THAT ocean view .
You can listen the ocean roar at night swimming in the pool.
With a lovely lightening of the garden .
House setup was amazing.
I am 61 years old and I am considered my self a world traveller.
Few times in my life I found a place with such good taste and so well equipped.
From the kitchen , bedrooms and bathrooms.

"Spent a week in paradise this past October at a beautiful house in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica named Casa de Paz.
Just minutes from the beach, the FOUR bedroom house was amazing. Not just a FOUR bedroom house, but a FOUR MASTER SUITE HOME!
No one had to fight for the best room, they were all big and beautiful with their own private bathrooms and balconies ! The views from the balconies were spectacular. Three of the rooms overlooked our private infinity pool and beyond the forest of trees we could see the breathtaking ocean, which was only about a 5 minute walk away.
The full kitchen was stocked with dishes. Plates, bowls, utensils, pots and pans and did we mention wine glasses ! It was so convenient having all the comforts of home.
The property was meticulously gardened daily by a friendly groundskeeper who also made sure the pool was perfect for use any time. The housekeepers spoiled us by keeping the place sparkling clean and we even got daily visits from a couple of curious little monkeys.
The people in town were very friendly and welcoming and the food was scrumptious- you have to try the fried yuca and garlic sauce!
Every beach we visited was clean and beautiful, the water was warm and the air was pure.
We can’t wait to go back."

"I had an amazing experience at Casa de Ensuenos. My first impression was that the property looked very custom and new. There is view from every part of the house, especially from the top floor. I loved that it was easy access to the beach. I got to meet the owners John & Stephanie, they were very welcoming and accommodating. If I needed directions, an ATV, car rental, or any local knowledge the staff were there to help. This was a trip that I will remember for the rest of my life because of the accommodations, service, and beauty of Costa Rica. I highly recommend Casa de Ensuenos for any occasion. I will be back to Casa de Ensuenos guaranteed."

Casa de Paz was exceptional. As soon as we arrived I was so impressed with the location, just tucked away off the main strip and not miles up dirt tracks like many other villas are in Santa Teresa. The rooms are huge, high ceilings, super clean, great views, on-site security which gives peace of mind when out in the town at night. Absolutely nothing I would of changed and will absolutely stay at Casa De Paz again and recommend to any friends of mine. The owners were fantastic at helping with any questions I had and the cleaning staff were fantastic. Thank you again!

We recently stayed at Casa La Paz. We were hesitant as it did not have any reviews. However we quickly learned why. It is a brand new home that has hardly been used. Everything was perfect from day one. We were welcomed to the home by a wonderful staff. The home had an aroma of plumeria and jasmin as the home is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was a high quality home that could be closed and air conditioned to keep the bugs out or could be opened up to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. If you are wanting a home that is walking distance to the beach and great restaurants while being out of the hustle of downtown Santa Teresa this is perfect!

We stayed almost two weeks at Casa de Paz and it was perfect for us. Everything was brand new and sparkling clean. Main living area is super spacious and opens up to the outside with a stunning pool just steps away. Location was just what we wanted close enough to the action but far enough away that it’s quiet and tranquil.

I can’t express how much we enjoyed staying at Casa de Paz for spring break! It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s immaculate with designer, luxurious finishes. We went with two families and it was the perfect layout with master bathrooms in every room! We could spread out and enjoy our own space, then come together in the main area to eat, swim, play games and relax. Everything is clean, modern and had everything we could possibly need and more. Our kids walked down every morning to meet the on-site gardener who allowed them into the chicken coop to hold the chickens and collect eggs for breakfast! We also picked fresh mangos out of the tree to enjoy each day. It was absolutely heavenly. Because we had kids with us, safety was our highest priority (although we’ve been to Santa Teresa before and it is extremely safe)! The guard came every evening at sun-down and walked the property—he stayed overnight until the next morning just for extra security. That extra step was taken every time with the host and the cleaners as well which is why I would 100% recommend Casa de Paz!!

My family has been down to Santa Teresa several times and Casa de Paz was hands down the BEST house we have stayed at. The house is immaculate with everything you could possibly need. It is a quick walk to the beach with epic surf right out front. The pool overlooks the water with wildlife all around. The concierge for the house was amazing and took care of everything we could possibly need. We will definitely be back!!!

Casa de Paz was truly amazing for our first trip to Costa Rica. The house is so cool, modern, and extremely clean. Our kids used the infinity pool constantly and we loved being so close to town, the restaurants and beach! We're bookmarking this place for sure and can't wait to go back.

Where do I start from, describing our stay at John's place (Casa de Paz)? Simply amazing. We stayed at their beautiful house for 9 days with my wife and two kids and the original plan was to use the house as a base to start exploring Costa Rica since it was our first time there. The house construction with private infinity pool is absolutely state of the art. All restaurants and markets are literally down the street so it was so convenient to either walk for a nice meal or pick up groceries and use their amazing kitchen to cook. We ended up having several meals at the house enjoying the ocean views. All the bedrooms were very spacious with their own showers. Three of the bedrooms had a huge balcony and of course ocean views. Even though the area is super safe having a night guard at the gate did feel more comforting. The cleaning crew for house and gardens did a great job. They would bring us mangos from the trees in the property and fresh eggs from the chickens maintained there every morning. The concierge would arrange anything we wanted from dinner, to horse back riding, to zip-lining. All in all we had a great experience and will definitely be renting this place again.

The view, the pool, the kitchen, the bedrooms — all were beautiful! I was there for a full month and the stay was extremely comfortable, and the host was SO helpful. She also gave the most amazing massages. I would stay there again in a heart beat and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

This house looks beautiful in the listings and is even more amazing in person! It was perfect (with space to spare) for our family of six. Our kids loved the pool - and the monkeys in the mango tree next to the pool! It was lovely having a housekeeper for daily cleaning and concierge for recommendations and booking. Can’t recommend this house and Santa Teresa enough!

Our vacation couldn't have been better. We stayed at Casa de Ensuenos, which was truly amazing. The views were even better than the pictures! The house was very clean and roomy. It had everything we needed for a great stay. The location was perfect; it was close to the beach, restaurants, cafes, and hotels. Activities are easily accessible from the property. The concierge provided friendly and quick answers to our requests and booked our ATV rentals, fishing excursion, and restaurant reservations. Our stay was unforgettable, and we fully intend on booking again in the future for vacations when we feel like reliving our time all over again. We really enjoyed all of the details the owners put into making our stay so enjoyable!
